From March 4th to March 27th, these students will embark on a lively and interactive journey to enhance their English skills through a curriculum that not only covers the core skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing but also delves into cross-cultural understanding, English for technology, drama\/readers theater, presentation skills, and British tea culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">To kick off their stay, our department hosted a welcoming party on March 5th. Dr. Wang Chaochang, the Chair of the Department of Applied English, gave an inspiring talk, encouraging the students to be open-minded towards the local culture and to strive for excellence in improving their English abilities. Dr. Wang also expressed her commitment to support them in every aspect of their stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">In addition to the academic curriculum, we have assigned Teaching Assistants to provide both academic and personal support, ensuring a smooth adjustment to life and studies here. The in-class TAs assist with learning during lessons. The living TAs will provide guidance on homework during the ninth period and will also assist students in adapting to their daily lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">We look forward to an exciting and productive few weeks ahead, filled with learning, cultural exchange, and friendship.
