Kyushu Kyoritsu University Visits Ming Chuan University and Signs MOU for Exchange and Cooperation

On December 3, President Toshihiro Okuda of Kyushu Kyoritsu University, along with a delegation of five members, visited Ming Chuan University. The delegation first toured the Taoyuan Campus to observe its teaching facilities before heading to the Taipei Campus in the afternoon, where they were warmly received by President Lee Chuan. On behalf of both institutions, the presidents signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to discuss future academic exchange and collaboration.

Kyushu Kyoritsu University, located in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan, was originally established in 1947 as Fukuhara Advanced Academy. This visit was organized by Japan Education and Culture Center, with Director Feng Yen-Kuo accompanying the delegation throughout the event. In addition to visiting various teaching facilities, such as the Japanese Culture Classroom, American Culture Classroom, Semiconductor Laboratory, Broadcasting Station, XR Studio, and MCU NetTV, the presidents of both universities signed the MOU, marking a new chapter in academic exchange between the two institutions.

The delegation from Kyushu Kyoritsu University included President Toshihiro Okuda, Director Takayoshi Kurogi of the Fukuhara Gakuen University Consortium International Affairs Office, Teacher Shen Ruobing of the same office, former Director Chen Chung-Cheng of the Taiwan-Japan Relations Association in Fukuoka, and former Consul-General Hsiang Ming-Teh of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Osaka.
