Youth Mandarin Training Project for Latin America and Canada 45 Youths Improve their Chinese at Ming Chuan

The Mandarin Studies and Culture Center of Ming Chuan University was entrusted by the International Cooperation and Development Fund, TaiwanICDF to conduct the ” Youth Mandarin Training Project for Latin America and Canada “. A total of 45 young people from 7 countries are participating in the three-month Intensive Chinese courses from August 29 to November 20, 2022, to improve their Chinese ability and experience the beauty of Taiwanese culture. The 45 students selected for this program are diligent in their studies under the ICDF Chinese Language Teaching Program, including 9 students from Paraguay, 2 students from Guatemala, 19 students from Honduras, 3 students from Belize, 7 students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, 2 from Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis and 3 from Saint Lucia. Most of the students have studied Chinese in their own countries for a period of time and have passed the basic entry-level of Test of Chinese as Foreign Language (TOCFL) held by the Ministry of Education.
